Among the Hungarian dishes, sausages play an important role. It is filled at winter time, when the gather in is over and the nature get its rest. The kolbász is one of the Hungarian sausage types, prepared with red paprika. There are many festivals organized through out the winter time, worth taking part to: traditional music and dances, and traditional fair accompany those events, where you can witness how the kolbász is filled through a competition of those applying to the kolbász filling contest (last year there eaw a sausage of 14m long!), and you can also have a good sausage dinner with potatoes and beetroot in a restaurant in the town.
