The Danube Bend is the place where the river changes its flowing direction : the Danube sources in Germany in the Black Forest, flows from west to east until Hungary, where it takes a bend to flow from north to south, to finally arrive many km later to the Black Sea in Romania. The visit of the Danube bend consists of 3 cities. Esztergom was the first royal seat in the 10th century, with its cathedral and the Christian Museum. Visegrád was the Camelot of Hungary, with its medieval castle and a magnificent view on the Danube where it takes the bend. Szentendre is a village of arts, which remains in its 18th century style. An excellent cellar is welcoming the visitors, tasting wines from all wine regions of Hungary.
